Instructor, SQL and JAVA Certifications

Born and raised in Massachusetts, before moving to Fairbanks Alaska with family, and later to Honolulu, where he earned a bachelors in Biology and worked on his masters in Computer Science by participating in an academic consortium with universities in 4 countries. Taught Computer Science for 7 years at Hawaii Pacific University and for 4 years at the University of Hawaii.

He has taught Java Programmer Certification and Oracle SQL Expert classes at Consulting Solutions.Net since 2011. Currently designing curriculum for Big Data and Cloud Development. Oracle SQL Expert certified.

Has taught some form of computer technology to people as young as 12 and as old as 91. Deeply loves teaching, humor, and empowering people to learn new technology. Has worked in transactional database environments for over 20 years. Is now moving into real time, streaming and big data for analytics.
