Audra Johnson, a native Texan, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Psychology and Government. During her time at UT, she studied abroad in Australia and Great Britain and discovered a love for travel and learning about different cultures. Upon graduation, Audra interviewed and was chosen for a position with the Japanese Ministry of Education as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor. She moved to Amami Oshima, Japan to work in the Board of Education Office and teach English in ten elementary and seven junior high schools.
There Audra quickly learned that the best way to make a lasting impact on the children of Amami Oshima was to not only teach the children but to also train the Japanese English Teachers in new, innovative ways to present the material creating a foundation for the children to build upon through their studies. In fact, she was so successful with this new training method that the state government asked her to present it at their annual teacher’s conference where she trained both the Japanese English Teachers and other foreign ESL Instructors of Kagoshima-ken.
Upon returning to the States in 2003, Audra worked for various companies/industries where she discovered her skillset for process improvement, thinking outside the box, and a continued desire to help others realize their potential. This often led her to create new processes and procedures which would benefit her fellow co-workers and train them in the subject matter. Audra was also known for her love of event planning, which eventually led her to attend the Project Management Certificate Program at Consulting Solutions.Net in 2007.
After several years of owning her own event planning business, All About You Communications, Audra decided to return to the training career field. She accepted a position with Consulting Solutions.Net in 2009 as their Office Manager and went to work creating new standard operating procedures to establish a more productive, efficient work environment thereby making the students and instructors lives less stressful and their time as CSN go more smoothly.
Having been unemployed in the past herself, Audra understands firsthand how stressful and upsetting those circumstances can be for the students. Therefore, her main goal is to help the students get through this difficult time in their lives and come out on the other side with a new job skill and a new career. This has been her sole focus for the last 7 years resulting in her being promoted to Client Relations Director, a job for which she is a perfect fit!
